Nights are to sleep, not to weep…
Most of the times when we get back from work, we are tired and thoughts keeping running through our mind. We want to sleep but the tensions of the next day do not allow. Lets not forget sometimes when we are speaking with our partners and missing them, we can’t sleep or if you had a fight its even worse. These days call centres are yet another reason, night shifts and grave yard shifts could change your entire routine.

Does everyone get sleep ?
Its not easy for everyone to get sleep when you have personal or professional pressures or things lying on your mind. When we do not sleep for many days due to some or the other reason they could fall victims of INSOMNIA. Insomnia is difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep, or having non- refreshing sleep for at least 1 month. Insomnia is such a common condition, affecting millions of Americans, yet many people are not aware of the serious consequences of Insomnia. Commonly referred to as sleeplessness, or lack of sleep, insomnia can lead to severe fatigue, anxiety, depression and lack of concentration. Insomnia is serious, although unlike other diseases it does not kill. But only a sleep deprived person knows how lonely and how terrible this state can be.
Sleeplessness, or Insomnia, is something of an epidemic in the US right now. The National Sleep Foundation says that 47 million American adults may be at risk of injury and physical and emotional difficulty because they do not get enough sleep. Recently, the National Institutes of Health estimated that 50 million to 70 million Americans of all ages suffer sleep-related problems.
While some soles sleep like logs of wood others struggle until morning. It is important for us to sleep for about 7- 8 hours each day. Some who do not get sleep should develop habits of reading, watching some series or watching a movie. One has to ensure to deviate himself from the routine issues and thoughts and calm his mind. Once the mind is calm , he would automatically fall asleep. It is highly advised that in this stage sleeping pills should not be consumed at regular intervals. Meditation and yoga could be another good options, they relax the mind and synchronise your thoughts. This eventually calms you down and gets you rid of stress and anxiety. Sleep is a must but do not force yourself to sleep, instead force your self not to have any reasons to evade sleep.
