Suit the season’s Fruit

Every season brings with itself a special fruit but many a times we do not even taste those fruits. Although these fruits are seasonal they have immense health benefits and for the same we must definitely take the benefit of those. They are not only good for the body but they are also good for the skin and the hair. Some of these fruits and their benefits are as follows :

1)    Plums

Plums are very nutritious and contain potassium, Vitamin A, Magnesium, Iron and fibres which keep us healthy and full of energy. They also prevent platelet clotting which may result in diseases like High Blood pressure, Stroke and Coronary Heart Disease. It also prevents constipation and removes toxins from the body. In this you can lose weight naturally.
Plum contains citric acid that can prevent tiredness and muscle cramp. It improves gastrointestinal and liver function and thus prevents constipation.

1)    Peaches

 A peach is extremely rich in vitamin A and potassium, apart from abounding in a number of other nutrients, making them rank very high in nutritional value. Peaches help make the skin healthy and also add color to the complexion. It has been seen that consumption of peaches helps in the removal of worms from the intestinal tract. 

2)    Pineapple

One of the benefits of pineapple is that it helps to build healthy bones. Pineapples are rich in manganese, a trace mineral that is needed for your body to build bone and connective tissues. Just one cup of pineapple provides 73% of the daily recommended amount of manganese. The benefits of pineapple can effect the growth of bones in young people and the strengthening of bones in older people. 

3)    Guava (peru)

Guava is quite rich in Vitamin C, maybe even more than orange, apart from a number of other vitamins and minerals. Being rich in Vitamin C; guava is effective in treating male infertility caused by sperm clumping, adhesion and other abnormalities. Guava, having high content of roughage, no cholesterol & less digestible carbohydrates, is good for those trying to lose weight. Guavas can improve the texture of skin and help avoid skin problems. For the purpose, you can either eat it raw or make wash your skin with a decoction of its immature fruits and leaves 

4)    Custard Apple

Custard apple is a storehouse of Vitamin C, which is an anti-oxidant and helps in neutralizing free radicals. Vitamin A present in the fruit is good for hair, eyes and healthy skin. Custard apple contains magnesium, which plays vital role in relaxing muscles and protecting heart against diseases. Potassium and Vitamin B6 are also present in custard apple. Copper is yet another useful ingredient of custard apple. It is a rich source of dietary fiber, which helps in digestion. 

5)    Water Melon

The beautiful red watermelon is also a source of the potent carotene antioxidant which is called lycopene. These antioxidants travel throughout the body neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals are substances in the body that can cause much damage to us. They are able to oxidize cholesterol, making it stick to blood vessel walls and thicken them which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

So next time don’t only pounce on the same fruits, let your taste buds get a flavor of some different fruit, moreover let your body get a benefit of a new fruit. We shall now know some more about INTERNATIONAL FRUITS.
